Mr. Mohammed holds an MSc in Oil and Gas Accounting from Robert Gordon University Aberdeen, (UK) and a BSc in Accounting from Nigeria’s foremost Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is currently a Doctoral Research Fellow and an academic staff of the Department of Accounting at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is an associate member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). Mr. Lawal has participated in market and business development research for Growth and Employment in States (GEMS4) funded by DFID/UKaid and The World Bank for Tomatoes Corridor in Northern Nigeria. He has also worked on the restructuring of the Cooperative Department of Kaduna State Ministry of Agriculture and the restructuring of Value Seeds Limited Zaria under DFID’s funded Business Innovation Facility (BIF) projects. He has also undergone training by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) on social investments.
